Pierre-Antoine Chardel is a socio-philosopher, and Professor of Philosophy at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS), where he teaches in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. He directs the doctoral seminar Éthique en recherche at the University of Paris-Saclay and co-directs the seminar Socio-philosophie du temps présent at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). He is also a permanent researcher at the Laboratoire d’Anthropologie Politique (CNRS/EHESS). His research focuses on ethics, digital technologies, political anthropology, and contemporary social philosophy. His recent major publications include Vertigineux réseaux: Enjeux éthiques, cliniques et politiques (2025), Socio-philosophie des technologies numériques: Éthique, société, organisations (2022), Corps connectés (2022), L’empire du signal: De l’écrit aux écrans (2020), and Transition industrielle et organisations émergentes: L’éthique en question (2019).
