Nicolas Dutent is a critic and journalist in the field of culture and knowledge. He has specialised in the fields of human sciences, literature, photography, and religion. Dutent is the chief editor of Culture at Marianne. He is a critic at Esprit and Lettres françaises, and has worked in l'Humanité and France Culture. He is co-author, with Jean-Luc Nancy, of Marquage Manquant et autres dires de la peau (Les Venterniers, 2017), a book of his interview with Nancy.
