MARIANA ORTEGA
Mariana Ortega is associate professor of Philosophy and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on Women of colour, Feminisms (in particular Latina feminisms), 20th Century Continental Philosophy, Phenomenology (Heidegger), Philosophy of Race, and Aesthetics. She is the author of In-Between: Latina Feminist Phenomenology, Multiplicity and the Self (SUNY, 2016).
Ashleigh Morales is a second-year PhD student at the University of Memphis. She works on Latin/x Feminisms and Phenomenology, and is specifically interested in questions related to resistance and subjectivity.
