AVITAL RONELL
Avital Ronell is University Professor of the Humanities at NYU, where she taught for ten years with Jacques Derrida. She teaches media and philosophy at the European Graduate School in Switzerland. Her works include lecture performances at Hau3 in Berlin and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. She has written a number of books including The Telephone Book and Complaint: Grievance among Friends, as well as recent essays, “The Gestell from Hell” (Oxford Review of Literature) and “An Addictionary of Violence” (Counterpunch).
