Nicolas Idier holds a doctoral degree in Art History from Sorbonne University. He is a scholar of graphic arts and is a sinologist.  Idier is the author of several the Electric Nights in Beijing (Yatra Books, 2020) translated from French by Sindhuja Veeraragavan. He is a member of the editorial board of several publications including the journal Nunc.
