Marcia Sá Cavalcante Schuback

Marcia Sá Cavalcante Schuback is professor of philosophy at Södertörn University in Sweden. She studied Philosophy at Albert-Ludwigs Universitet in Freiburg in Breisgau in Germany under the supervising of Prof. Ute Guzzoni. Back in Brazil, Schuback translated Heidegger’s Being and Time (Vozes Editions, 1989) into Portuguese. Between 1985 and 1992, she worked as coordinator for the cultural section of the Forum for Science and Culture of the University Federal of Rio de Janeiro where she was the editor of the magazine on Philosophy and Aesthetics Arte e Palavra. Her recent book is Time in Exile: In Conversation with Heidegger, Blanchot, and Lispector.
