AYNUR UNAL
Aynur Unal is currently an Associate Lecturer at Arden University, England. She holds a PhD in Political Sociology from the University of Leicester, U.K. (2019), an M.A. in International Relations (specialised in International Law and Human Rights) from Deakin University, Australia (2016) and a B.A. degree in International Community Development from Victoria University, Australia (2014). Unal’s interdisciplinary research interests include indigeneity, ethnicity, indigenous rights, Kurdish political movement, indigenous peoples of Mesopotamia (Middle East), internal colonisation, post-colonial nation states, self-determination movements, indigeneity discourse, national identity discourse, political communication and Critical Discourse Studies (CDS).
